In-practice payments from 1 January 2027

## Prepare for EET 2.0.

Under the new Czech law, payments received in personal contact with a customer may be subject to electronic sales registration — not just cash, but also card or QR code payments. What matters is how and where payment is received, not just its form.

With CortexApp and the Comgate payment gateway, clients can pay online when booking or remotely before a visit in the client portal. Official guidance states that remote payments without personal contact, such as payments through a gateway, are not subject to registration. Check your specific obligations with a tax adviser.
